Comeback: “Road to Recovery Six Week 5K Plan”

For once my lack of blogging was not due to my lack of desire as past blog experiences had failed. Instead, a chronic health issue landed me in the hospital for two weeks followed by a month and a half of slow recovery. I have lost 20 lbs (mostly muscle) and was not permitted to workout.

In fact, as I write this I am awaiting clearance from the doctor to resume running and weight training next week. I am very eager to get back in the gym and out on the pavement. I have been allowed to walk, so I have been doing 30 minutes on the treadmill (or 1 hr outdoors walking behind the self-propelled mower) 3-4 times a week to keep my legs from completely going to Jello.
